MT. PULAG

I can still clearly see it in my mind. Stars, big and small, were scattered in your night sky like precious stones tossed by the gods. It was a sight only few had a chance to witness, a beauty often deprived to many due to your unpredictable weather.  I am not sure if you heard me when I whispered a wish, but like magic that happens in children’s books, you swept your curtain mist away and allow me to marvel at your glory. Truly, you must be the playground of the gods, for what you have shown me, day and night, is fitting for that.
